Rod is out sick today. His medical prognosis is not good. For those of you who follow this closely, Rod has long suffered with a severe case of Intoxicatio cum disorientatione gluteali.
Or possibly, just a really bad head cold.
Enough so that on the one day a year that I could have gotten an extra hour of sleep, he was texting me to proclaim his impending death, which, as a stoic, he pretty much expects every day anyway. If this does actually kill him, it won’t be unexpected.
Anyway, today would be a good day to re-enjoy the musical.
We’ll be back next week – unless Rod actually does die, in which case I will be back tomorrow (after an appropriate period of mourning) for Plausibly Live – The Dave Bowman Show…
